CAD Designer

Location: Cleveland, OH

We are looking for an experienced CAD Designer to join our Cleveland team. This person will support a variety of projects by developing accurate, detailed drawings and working closely with engineers, architects, project managers, and other team members.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of CAD experience , strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative project team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise detailed 2D CAD drawings based on project requirements and design direction
• Develop construction documents, plans, details, and layouts
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and other designers to coordinate drawings
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
• Incorporate revisions and redlines into project documents
• Maintain organized project files and drawing sets
• Assist with drawing standards, templates, and document management
• Coordinate design information between disciplines as needed
• Support projects through various phases of design and construction documentation
• Communicate with team members to identify and resolve drawing or coordination issues

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional CAD experience
• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• Experience producing construction or technical drawings
• Strong understanding of drafting standards and construction documentation
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, engineering, or construction drawings
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with Revit, Civil 3D, or other design software is a plus, depending on project experience
