DescriptionSeeking an Assistant District Attorney to work in the Norfolk District Attorney’s Appeals Unit focusing on Public Records requests.The primary function of this position is responding to records requests, including requests under the Public Records Law and subpoenas.Other responsibilities may include drafting and arguing briefs and other post-conviction matters and researching and responding to time-sensitive legal questions, as well as trial assistance.QualificationsMust be a licensed attorney in good standing in Massachusetts.At least 1+ year experience working with the criminal justice system.Position based at main office in Canton. Must be able to travel to courts within the Commonwealth.This is a full-time position based in Canton, MA.
